At Acorn House Veterinary Clinic, we believe that all animals deserve excellent veterinary care. Our vet Dee completed a degree in zoology prior to studying as a vet and has an extra post-graduate qualification (PGCert) in exotic animal medicine- focusing on reptiles, birds, small mammals and wildlife. She put this training to good use and spent three years as a lead vet for Secret World Wildlife Rescue, a large British wildlife sanctuary and rehabilitation hospital in the UK, as part of her position in a veterinary hospital in Somerset. Dee also spent 18 months as part of the vet team providing veterinary services to Dublin Zoo.

We are happy to treat all exotic pets, including reptiles, birds, small mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats etc) as well as backyard poultry like chickens and ducks. We are also very happy to take in and treat wildlife at no cost to the finder.
